What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect your email and the search preferences you choose (neighborhoods, budget, bedrooms, move-in timing), plus who invited you, if anyone. Owners who claim a founding spot share their name, email, building address, unit count and next vacancy.

How we use it

To manage your place in line, tell you when your neighborhood opens, match you with homes, and improve firsthand. We don't sell your personal information.

Verification

When the app opens, identity, income and credit checks run through licensed partners. Owners only see whether you qualify, never your documents or account numbers.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your information or stop emailing you at any time: hello@firsthandnyc.com.
